25 years ago, I gave myself a birthday present. I had wanted to see Stonehenge in person for as long as I knew of its existence. I was going! I went with the friend of a friend who had always wanted to see London. We walked through Hyde Park, watched a gentleman feed squirrels in Kensington Gardens, and had a great time filling the weekend seeing as many sites as we could using the hop-on-hop-off tour buses. Additionally, we took a side trip to Stonehenge and Bath. It was one of the best gifts I have ever given myself.
Jump forward to 2009 and it was at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park of London that Scott proposed on the prime meridian. That was definitely an epic vacation!
In 2016, I wrote 'London Rain' for a project Scott and I were and still are working on. When there's more to tell you about that, I will. I released it as part of that project in 2018. A few people may recall it being used at the end of boxing classes a few years ago. Given all I've learned about production over the last several years, I tried remixing it. In the end, I had it right the first time. I hope you enjoy.
The image is titled, 'The Shard'. If you are a fan of architecture and haven't had a chance to see the Shard in person, I recommend a visit. If you are less inclined toward travel, you can find images online. It's quite a design.
