Who would imagine a song could be inspired while having your eyes dilated? And yet, that's exactly what happened at the opthalmologists one day. They have an enormous fish tank. When it comes time to wait for those magic drops to dilate, reading and watching tv are anything but comfortable. The fish tank is just right.

This particular day, there was one fish who had somehow annoyed a few others and was being chased around and through the greenery at one end of the tank. The rest of the fish seemed not to notice and kept doing their thing, just swimming back and forth for the length of the tank. You could tell feeding time was coming. The ones not in the chasing scenario were clearly checking here and there for a little smackerel.

The artwork reflects a translation of the fish to modern times. Most of us (myself included) get our feeds from our cell phones, tablets and computers. Before then and still for some, it was televisions, radios and newspapers. There's so much information out there to ingest. We can easily miss seeing what's happening around us.
