can you hear me

In late January, a little girl named Hind Rajab called for help using a relative's cell phone. She was the only survivor of an attack on their car as they tried to escape south in Gaza. She was 6 years old. That call was the last anyone heard her voice.

Too many voices have been lost. Per Save The Children, an average of 25 children are killed or injured in conflicts every day. There are over 110 armed conflicts around the globe according to the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law. Too many. Too many.

This song is for all of the children who didn't, don't, won't have any chance to be heard. May their souls find peace.

Lyrics:

can you hear me
can you hear me cry
can you hear me
'cause I'm gonna die

can you hear me
can you hear me cry
can you hear me
'cause I'm gonna die

can you hear me
I know you can't see
can you hear me
I can feel me bleed

can you hear me
can you hear me cry
can you hear me
'cause I'm gonna die

can you hear me
can you hear me cry
can you hear me
'cause I'm gonna die

can you hear me
don't know where we are
can you hear me
the world is getting dark
